This Royal Northaven family was looking to transform their poorly laid out kitchen, living room, and underutilized small back patio into a space that suited their needs exactly.

OUR CREATIVE SOLUTION

The renovation started with incorporating the small back patio into the home as new found interior space, which was converted into a modern, spacious dining area. The next step was to remove several interior walls to create the open concept flow that the family desired.

The kitchen layout was reconfigured into the classic work triangle that makes using a well laid out kitchen a pleasure instead of a chore! A sizeable island anchors the space and is topped with polished black Galaxy granite that contrasts beautifully with the all-white shaker cabinetry. One corner of the kitchen now includes a wet bar with an extra sink, wine refrigerator, and backlit open shelving.

The Porcelanosa Antique Gray tile backsplash acts as a beautiful visual focal point to the kitchen along with modern sculptural globe glass pendants by West Elm. Ultra-durable Monte Carlo Bottega Bella Cera engineered hardwood flooring used throughout the entire main floor brings the whole space together.
