Looking to bring their 1970s dated kitchen into the 21st century, these Dallas homeowners sought professional help from the design-build experts at Blackline Renovations to improve the layout of their space and add much needed storage.

OUR CREATIVE SOLUTION

Keeping within the kitchen’s original footprint, the area was made to feel more spacious and open by removing all of the entry doors to the kitchen and framing new, wider arched openings in their place. A small but efficient custom island was installed in the center of the kitchen, offering coveted counter and prep space. The kitchen was designed with new custom Lyptus wood cabinetry stained in a rich brown from Custom Wood Products (CWP). They were topped with a luxurious Blue Pearl granite, and accented with a multi-color glass backsplash and blue glass pendants over the island.

On the opposite wall, a beautiful built-in hutch was designed into the space using the same custom cabinetry and multi-color glass backsplash as the kitchen, and includes a wine refrigerator with additional wine storage.
