Homeowner Desired Outcome

This Hollywood Heights homeowner loved the charm and character of her home, but the original kitchen left much to be desired. She asked Blackline to help her update the look and feel of her kitchen to seamlessly blend with the rest of the home; while at the same time making the small kitchen feel less cramped and more open, maximizing the kitchen’s efficiency

OUR CREATIVE SOLUTION

Teaming up with interior designer (J. Wiley Designs), we made sure the kitchen’s new aesthetic matched the rest of the home: A sizeable Tudor arched opening, mosaic-style backsplash, and brown subway tile contrast beautifully with crisp white shaker cabinetry.

The entry to the kitchen was relocated to create a more direct route to the master suite and guest bedroom, creating a new U-shaped kitchen layout. The cooktop was moved to an exterior wall where we added a beautiful custom decorative vent hood. The sink was moved to the newly expanded peninsula that now comfortably seats three and provides additional countertop space for food prep and entertaining needs.
