Homeowner Desired Outcome

As part of a planned two-story home addition, these Preston Hollow homeowners wanted to create a private guest suite for their family and friends to enjoy when visiting from out of town.

Our Creative Solution

The new spacious guest bedroom suite was designed to create a separate, private room for guests that would be accessed through a vestibule from the media room. The bedroom suite was designed with its own private bathroom and spacious closet. And, to ensure the room was quiet and comfortable, a soundproofing pad was placed beneath the wood flooring on the second floor to minimize noise transfer from above, and sound insulation was installed in between the walls adjacent to the media room.

As part of this two-story home addition, Blackline Renovations also designed a Luxury Media Room into the second floor.
