Homeowner Desired Outcome

These Dallas homeowners were previous clients, now ready to upgrade their primary bathroom. They wanted to replace the existing bathtub with a walk-in shower, and update the bathroom with a new design and finishes.

Our Creative Solution

Keeping within the existing footprint of the bathroom, we maintained the overall layout but made a few modifications to maximize the room’s flow and improve its functionality. First, we utilized the empty floor space from the toilet/shower room to enlarge the vanity area. Then, the new vanity was designed with more storage, including drawers to the left and right of each sink, and adequate counter space on all sides. Secondly, after removing the tub/shower combo, we built a large walk-in shower with a recessed niche and corner seat. The recessed built-in linen cabinet was designed with a concealed laundry hamper pull-out.

Matching the design style of the home and the homeowners’ tastes, we utilized neutral hues in the cabinetry and tile selections to create the perfect complement to the stunning natural quartzite countertops. Adding a grand and elegant feel to the space, we installed a full wall mirror above the vanity and mounted wall sconces on top of the mirror. Another unique feature, adding visual interest to the shower is the custom shower glass mosaic. Luxury faucets with a rain shower head and hand-held shower head complete the look.
