Homeowner Desired Outcome

This University Park homeowner wanted to update two bathrooms—one accessed by the pool and the other an upstairs jack and jill bathroom. Both were dated and needed a fresh, modern aesthetic that tied into their home’s existing style. With two small children, the jack and jill bathroom needed to be designed with the kids in mind. In particular, the showerhead height in their existing bathroom was too high for them to reach.

OUR CREATIVE SOLUTION

All existing tile and plumbing fixtures were removed from both spaces. A new stone mosaic tile floor was installed in both bathrooms and laid with stunning floor-to-ceiling marble tile on the walls. The spaces were painted a soft gray, trimmed in white crown molding, and designed with new modern plumbing fixtures in a satin nickel finish. A handheld shower faucet on a slide bar was chosen for the shower head height to easily adjust as the children grow. The result?  A stunning mix of contemporary fixtures blended seamlessly with traditional elements to match the homeowner’s unique design style.
