Homeowner Desired Outcome

While designing the existing garage conversion and new garage addition, the homeowners decided the front entry and façade of their home needed a refresh.

Our Creative Solution

The original front entry was narrow and blocked off by a small coat closet. By pushing out the front door and removing the coat closet we were able to create a more open entry way into the home. The new covered porch adds visual interest to the home as well as the practicality of protecting the front door from the weather. The standing seam metal roof and copper gutters draw your attention to the entry where previously it was unimpressive. To complete the new look of the home, we applied a mortar wash to all the brick and painted the whole exterior of the home. The homeowners were thrilled with the final result!
